Huawei Technologies set to launch their latest handset in Nepal called GR5 (2017) on December 18. Huawei posting teaser of dual camera phone in their official Facebook. Do not expect it is Honor 8 or mate 9, it is GR5 (2017) which is recently launched in some South Asian countries. GR5 is the popular handset in Nepal under 30 thousand segment in Nepal. They are upgrading GR5 with GR5 (2017) to retain popularity of GR5. GR5 (2017) is also known as Honor 6x and Mate 9 in different countries. Huawei named GR5 (2017) in south asian countries instead of Honor 6x and Mate 9 lite. The highlight of this handset is dual rear camera setup. But do not expect best dual camera from this model because their is only 12 megapixel plus 2 megapixel sensor instead of 12 plus 12 megapixel found in honor 8 and P9.

The major highlight of Huawei GR5(2017) is its dual camera setup. But sadly, you won't get powerful dual camera in this model. This phone competes with Samsung J7 prime, P9 lite and Oppo F1s. If there is a powerful single camera setup, you do not need dual camera setup. We need to wait how their dual camera works in real life. Oppo F1s is in competition race providing better camera at 30 thousand segment. If you want to taste the dual camera at cheaper rate then it can be one choice. But you need to wait how they set the price.

Lets discuss price of GR5 (2017) in Nepal
Huawei's popular model GR5 is priced Rs. 24500 in Nepal which was initially launch at 35 thousand in Nepal. Honor 6x is priced at CNY 999 ( equivalent to Nrs. 15700) in international market. We cannot expect same price here in Nepal because Huawei always hike price extraordinarily. But as per our source, Huawei set to launch GR5 (2017) in Nepal under 30 thousand .
