Talking about specs, it has 5.5 inch HD display, android lollipop, 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM, 16MP front facing camera, 13 MP rear cameras and 3075 Mah battery. Oppo highlight this phone as a camera phone due to their 16MP Selfie camera. Apart from camera there is nothing interesting and powerful system which makes you to buy this phone. Until unless if you are Selfie lover , there is no attracting reason to buy OPPO F1s in Nepal. By observing specs versus price there are 5 reasons you should not buy OPPO F1s in Nepal.

1. Lower resolution display

Oppo F1s has equipped with 5.5 inch 720 x 1280 pixels resolution display. It has 267 pixels per inch. Considering price and screen size, it should have at least 1080P FHD display. If you are heavy gamer and want clear vivid display without losing any frame rate while playing games then this would not be your best choice. There is also pixilation and dots while reading small text and word in this lower resolution display. So, reason 1 is that it has lower resolution display and you can find many other products which have FHD display at this price bracket.

2. Still run on Android Lollipop 5.1

LG Launched their latest device V20 with world’s first android Nougat 7.0 but Oppo F1s still runs on out dated lollipop android version however it is launched recently. Android lollipop is almost 3 years old. Google announced android 8.0 beta developer and will be release along with Google Pixel 2. Considering android version this phone is outdated so another reason not to buy Oppo F1s. You can buy at least android marshmallow device at this price range. 3. Mediatek Processor (SoC) at 32k ( Not Acceptable)

If you are planning to buy this phone for gaming purpose or multitasking purpose then YOU SHOULD NOT BUY. Oppo F1s comes with less powerful Mediatek MT 6750 octacore chipset which is not powerful chipset. It is still runs on Octa core 1.5GHZ Cortex A.53 that means it cannot handle high end games properly. At this price range you can buy Coolpad Cool1 which has Snapdragon 652 Octacore with latest generation 4xA72 cortex and high class Adreno 510 GPU. Having bigger amount of RAM in old processor is not capable to perform well. Bigger RAM doesn't necessarily mean to have best performance, it need to have perfect combination of hardware and software. So, rethink one more time that this chipset is not high end chip which require for gaming and multi- tasking.

4. No Dual band WIFI, Low battery power and No Gyro

Nowadays mobile device becomes personal driver; you browse your data, share files and enjoy leisure time playing games. For better Wi-Fi connectivity there is dual band Wi-Fi system technology which is more powerful than traditional a/b/g/n type. Oppo F1s lack dual band Wi-Fi that mean your Wi-Fi signal could be lower comparing other’s device. Also, comparing other handset it has less powerful batter. It has only 3075 Mah battery which may struggle to provide one day back up.

Oppo F1s lacks Gyro sensor. If you are planning to buy this phone to get VR experience then think twice before buying it. 5. Price : 32K for 720p, Mediatek chipset, No gyro, No NFC, No Dual band Wi-Fi, No Type-C

Oppo F1s quote price 32 thousand in Nepal which is very high. Apart from 16 MP front cameras there are no any attracting factors which you should pay 32K. As I previously said, there are many down factors which are true disappointment to invest 32k for OPPO F1s.
