Colors mobile is the leading brand in Nepal. Several Indian and  Chinese companies have entered and made big splashes - not all have sustained their momentum, but Colors has popped up every now and then with a new release, reminding us that it's here.
The new Trend T-50 is launch recently in Nepal. You can buy T-50 at

Look and feel
The Colors T-50 has a pretty bold look which most other manufacturers seem to shy away from. At first glance it seems like a premium phone, but on closer inspection the shiny chrome frame which cradles the black front face and wraps around the sides is actually plastic. There is three on screen key based on android lollipop.

Specifications and software
We weren't expecting fireworks at this price point, and sure enough, the colors T-50 is built out of typical workhorse-class components. There's a Mediatek MT6582 processor with four CPU cores running at 1.3GHz and integrated Mali-400 MP graphics. There's also 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage is pretty standard, but micro SD card support goes all the way up to 32 GB.

The 4.5-inch screen has a FWVGA IPS display. The rear camera has a 8-megapixel 4P sensor and the one in front has a 5-megapixel 4P lens one. Colors is pushing the T-50 as a photography-centric budget phone. There are shortcuts for the flash, timer and smile detection right within the viewfinder. A settings menu reveals all the scene modes including Face Beauty, HDR, Super Fine, Multi Angle, and Live Photo. Live photo is a unique feature which helps to record live video while capturing photo.Viber, Facebook and Skype come presinstalled. There are also a small utilities called Backup & Restore which do pretty much what their names suggest. It have a swipe to unlock feature when screen is lock and auto call answer smart sensor.

Performance
We  did not found no major problems with the performance of the Colors T-50 in  terms of day-to-day usage. The screen isn't extremely sharp and colors are a little muted, but it does have good viewing angles and isn't hard to deal with under harsh sunlight. The loudspeaker is works pretty well and loud. The rear camera has exceptional performance at this price segment. The front facing 5-MP offers wide angle selfie for selfie lovers’ youngster.

Benchmark scores were pretty good for a sub-Rs. 10,000 phone. We got 21,119 points in AnTuTu benchmark. It beats many renowned brands mobile like Huwaei and Gionee in this price segment. In Nepal we got that Colors T-50 is the highest scoring device in AnTuTu benchmark below 10k segment.

Verdict
Colors T-50 is an interesting and winning phone with a lot of personality. Its bold styling will appeal to those who don't want usual phones. Overall performance is best at this price segment in Nepal, but if you're looking for larger screen size phone at affordable price then you need to wait for Colors Elite e20 few weeks. While those things might be nice to have, the T-50 covers all the essentials and you won't be left wanting. Camera quality is good and battery life is also last for one day. You’ll have to decide which features are the most important for you. At last Colors T-50 does pretty well job comparing its competitors at this price segment.
